I have an 01 civic recently purchased used from one owner. It has 76,800 miles on it. I had the oil and automatic transmission fluid changed recently. Right away the transmission began slipping at the second and third gear change. Does anyone know what can be done? I have been told that I will have to get a new transmission by a dealer. Any help is welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunaly all 01 civics are going to cause this problem with the transmission. It is a defect. Try calling the the Honda company and asking them if they will help with the repair cost. Go to carcomplaint.com you will see what I mean.
