BTW, the lights are only blue on the non-SI models. They're red on the SI.

Wow... I'm surprised by everyone's responses. If you actually test drive the SI, you'll be more than impressed. The layout is phenominal. The interior is better built than any civic/integra I've ever been in (new or used and dynomatted). The steering wheel is smaller for more of a race car feel. The speedo is up top so you don't take your eyes off the road to see your speed. The seats are recaro based (much like the 02-05's). The suspension is better than any integra/rsx/civic made. Has more than 160hp! 6 speed manual. Factory 17's with 18's as an option (and not crazy heavy like I thought). Optional Nav. Seriously, this car is more everything than any other SI they've ever come out with. Let's get out of the 15-20 year old shoe boxes and move into something with curves, style and performance.

Pros: No doubt it is the most technically advanced and capable of the bunch.

Only cons, a tad portly but considering the fact that the Civic is no longer their small compact I see it justified, the Fit filled that position.

also it looks like Honda spent a little too much on the asthetics to make it look "already aftermarket". Other than that it will take time to grow on you pretty much like when the 96-00 Civic did. I remember everyone hated it when it first came out. Takes time to take to changes.

Im think'n aboot buyin one of the 07 SIs. I love the looks of the RSX. But.. since no RSX in 07 leaves me with the 07SI.

My FAV si is the 99-00 (thus my vote for the 99-00)

nah man, step up to some more power and four times the potential. K-series > B-series. I could list a ton of features I like on the 8th gen over the 6th gen.
