TOOLS REQUIRED:
= 10mm Socket/wrench = Pliers Using the pliers, remove the plastic spacing clips on each side of the seat-back pivots (1 on each side). Once these spacers are removed, you can slide the seat-backs from side to side. Push the drivers-side seat-back towards the passenger side, and the outer pivot should come loose from the hole. Do the same thing to the other side and remove both seat-backs with hatch carpeting attached. To remove the bottom seat cushion, there is one 10mm bolt to the rear of the seat (where the seat-backs used to be). Once this bolt is removed, the entire bottom cushion can be flipped up towards the front of the car. The front edge of the seat-cushion is held in place by metal tabs, and can be easily lifted out at this point. Information provided by: 4thgenerationcivic.com |
