Rear Seatbelt Removal

Remove the 17mm bolts anchoring the seat-belts to the floor of the car.
Remove the rear interior back panel. -Remove all plastic access panels. -Remove all screws/bolts. -Lift out the panel. Remove the rear interior side panels - Un-bolt speaker pods (3 bolts each). - Remove the plastic seat-belt slots from the rear speaker pods. - Slide the seat-belt through the slot in the speaker pods - Remove all screws/bolts from the rest of the side panels. - Open rear-side windows. - Lift up the weather stripping along the bottom edge of each window. - Pull side-panels out and lift up to remove. Remove seat-belt retraction mechanism (two 17mm bolts each side). Re-install the side and rear interior panels (reverse of removal). information provided by: 4thgenerationcivic.com |
