Clearing And Homeade Ctr Headlights

heres another write up for the ctr style headlights


tools and supplies that i used
- Black Primer spray paint
- 10mm Sockets
- philips head screw driver
- flat head screw driver
- house oven
- gloves for the oven
- possibly silicone if you want (i didnt use any)
- news paper to paint on
- some pizza
Couple of pics of me doing it and instructions on how...
take your 10 mm sockets and take out the bolts from the sides of the wheel well and under your bumper and plastic clips on top of bumper under hood and take out screws from wheel well plastic housing. (some screws might be philips)



Then with 10mm socket as well remove the 4 screws from around your headlight easy to spot. Then remove ur headlight and turnsignal.



Then once you have done this preheat oven to 225 degrees and once preheated take headlight and put in as if you were looking at your bumper with headlight installed. Put headlight in for about 5 minutes once done pull headlight out and use a flat head and some strong force to open headlight shell from headlight glass once open take and use the philips head and remove the two screws connecting the chrome housing to the headlight unscrew those and tape off what u want to stay chrome .... then beggin to spray paint with the color you choose i choose primer black ... i used the whole can with light coats DO NOT LET DRIP keep can back to a good distance



once you painted and let sit for a while dryed out .... lets go in reverse now put screws back in place put the two pieces together like if they were to fit (wont stick together just yet) then set two pieces back in over for same time and same heat and once 5 minutes is up pull out and push two pieces together as hard as can without breaking housing and then let it cool

put all screws back where you found them in the first place and this is what mine turned out like
