lots of people get them for the cf bling factor, they do look nice and purdy but if you live where there is a lot of heat i'd highly advise you to stay away from buying one online unless they give you a warranty.

i'm not in sunny cal or anything, it gets chilly here, but if i get a cf hood - which i want the invader style one - is it gonna warp?

CF is not my thing, pretty much it is for the bling factor.
For the price of some of that stuff, that money can be better used.

true that!

not the cf warping but the fiberglass used for the underside of the carbon fiber. with the heat and of pressure is added it could (not saying it would) warp.

my cf hhod has been on for some a few months and no problems as of yet.

depending on the color of your car yeah, mine is black so you hardly notice it unless the sunlight hits my car any certain way. But for the most part CF doesnt fade, but it oxidizes like crazy... theres no stopping it really.

its something that has to get waxed frequently, but also u dont wanna use something abrazive cuz it will swirl it, and def no power equip. ive seen hoods that look like shit cuz ppl used really abrazive polishes on it or used a buffer
. may look good when u do it but in two days its gonna look like hell

I agree with most people here. Don't waste your money on that. There are other mods you can do which can be highly beneficial, rather than putting in something that will hardly even be seen, and IMO, be a waste of money.
