I have a crx shell I'm trying to decide what to do with. I've been thinking of ZC or possibly a b18a. Everyone tells me there ...

I have a crx shell I'm trying to decide what to do with. I've been thinking of ZC or possibly a b18a. Everyone tells me there is no aftermarket support for the ZC. I want to stick with a cable tranny to make life easy when doing the swap(i.e. no hydrolic system for the clutch) Only problem is that I can't find a b18a online anywhere. Plenty of b18b's just no a's. Anyone know a good place to find them? Thanks all.

where are you located at david? this could help us out in finding a b18 with a cable tranny for you. i know a lot of people get motors from hmotorsonline.com you could try there. are you a member on honda-tech.com or hondahookup.com? you could check on both of those sites as well. other than that, try your local junkyards or even ebay.

i personally would go with a b18b engine and a ys1 cable tranny, that way you've still got a cable tranny but you have 140hp instead of the 130hp that the a1's put out. theres is aftermarket support for the zc because the its basically a d16
