One of my buddies here got some problem with his distributor. He says the distributor he has right now is the wrong one, so he cannot adjust his timing far enough to have it timed correctly.
Tell me, new distributor the only remedy?? thanks in advance.

can't do a job without the right parts. Well you can, but if you want a successful outcome then you need the right parts.

which motor/ head combo does he have?
if you have a z6 head you need a z1 or z6 dizzy y8 heads pretty much any but the 2 listed above will fit with slight mods. otherwise use same obd family as ecu b-family you should use the same as head but same yr as ecu
