The 6th gen EX came standard with front and back disc brakes, and a moon roof, where the LX did not. Like all company's they didn't offer many that came as a base package on the highest trim. So most EX will already have packages like rims, CD, leather uprgrades, Where the LX came pretty much as a base model. I am not saying the LX is a lesser car, but when your talking about a blue book value difference of about $500 I would take the upgrades.
