Boosting the CX motor MIGHT get you a whoping 120 WHP and WILL NOT be fast. Don't even bother with this approach. A boosted D16 wouldn't be a bad idea. But the B16 is far from 'the ultimate' swap, trust me I put one in my hatch.

I've seen swaps for under $600 for an LS. You just really need to look around at as many sights, papers, and junkyards as you can find.

how fast do you want to be anyway? you could get a d16 for cheap and boost that and probably manage 13's in a hatch if it's tuned properly.
