Ok i was driving home and heard a squel noice so i pushed my clutch in and my engine stolled. I then pop it to start the car. everytime i pushed in the clutch the engine would just keep stalling. I also smelled a burn smell but soon i turned the car off it went away. my question is could this be my clutch? Maybe the bearings? I need a starting ground to see what is wrong. also does anyone have any good tips on how to access the clutch if this is the problem. Please help this is my only car and i need to be up and running so i can get to and from work. thanks everyone.

so it was a squeel and not a grinding sound?
is the timing belt still in tack?
check the distributor see if there is any shavings in the cap.....

Let us know what else you find out or have checked...Good luck
