okay i was lookin under my hood today and noticed that i had a coolant leak somewhere. the leaked looked like it was coming from my radiator cap, so i went to auto zone and got another one. waited for a lil while and put it on dried up everything and went back home. got home popped the hood and the was still water coming from somewhere. looked into it better and found a tiny lil crack that was about 4 inches long on the top part of the radiator. i put some jb weld on it thinking that might help but my brother and law came over and said it wouldnt hold cause it was plastic. i dont know if it is or not. so if someone had a similar problem and was able to fix it please let me know.

2 Things you can do:
1. Get your radiator replaced 2. go and get the existingradiator fixed. The the fix (jb weld) will hold for a bit at most! Tt will not be a permanenet fix and you will more than likely have the problem come up again. I dont know where you live but here in housotn i had my radiator replaced on my 96 sedan a fe years back for a low fee, soething like 100 bucks, it was replaced and i never had the problem again. Another thing is i'd check and see why the radiator is cracked, I for onw know where my problem came from so when i replaced the radiator it just enver happened again. good lucka nd hopefully someone has another idea for ya' here. --este |

The copper tubes are used to cool/warm up other lines- usually automatic transmission oil lines. You can just plug them on a manual car.
