its not a hard decision. keep it stock and buy a swapped out car. it is 200 times less the hassle and you dont waste 2 times the money and hours put into the car.

tune the tranny? what exactly do you mean by that? no a type r tranny makes the motor no harder to tune than a gsr...whoever told you that is lying to you. As for which tranny to use...Its all a matter of tire size, hp and how many rpms you wanna turn.

Yo man def. do a gsr b18c1 swap and if anything else you can slightly mod the motor and have almost a type r b18c5 motor with cams and crank can even be oem (jdm) not a lot of money or hassle. And move def dont buy an already car with a swap in it unless you already know the car like a buddies or something you have been around
