So last night on my way home from picking up my new sideskirts I got rear ended by an suv in traffic! I went and got estimates today and the damage is over 4000 dollars so I'm unsure about what's going to happen right now! The guy wanted to try to pay for it instead but I doubt that's going to happen! I'll keep you guys updated!

Here are a couple pics taken right before the accident at a clubcivic meet:

Doesn't seem to major. Hopefully the SUV guy was insured and everything works out OK in the end. Glad you weren't hurt. That's the most important thing.

Yeah it doesn't look that bad...but that rear quarter panel damage is what's killing me! I'm going to get a couple more estimates tomorrow then I'll know if the guy is going to pay it or go through his insurance! If his insurance takes it then she will more then likely be totalled!

I'll keep you guys updated!

Are YOU Sure Your Ok?

You Should Get A Lawyer ASAP!!!

Insurance Company will try to Screw you Over If you Dont have a Lawyer~
This Guy Will not Pay... They Never Do I Hope you got his Correct Information
because most people will try to pass off a Fake Insurance Card...

And You Got Rear Ended... OMG you can OWN his Ass.

Lawyers Dont Charge Until the Settlement is Complete and
It Shouldnt be Over 30 Percent of Settlement w/ his Share
on Hospital Bills and Chiropractic Visits...

You Really Need Someone to Watch out for you Best Intrest
because your Car Is More than your Transportation Its Also an Investment~
Imagine If they say you Cars Damage Is More than the Kellys Blue Book`
With the Ungrades you have thats called Personlization so the Value Goes Down~
Now the Insurance Company can Pay you only Half of what the Cars Really
Worth AND Take Your Car from you While Only giving you
a Percentage of the Upgrades that you have Invesed into your Car~
In the End You will Bearly have Enough Money to Get another Car....

You Need a Lawyer So you Can KEEP your Car and
Get Another Car (with Money to Fix the First Car)
And Have Money to Fix up Both Cars when the Settlement Comes...

I Hope that Everything Turns Out Ok with you
I Just Dont want you Make the Same Mistakes I did the First Time I Had a Accident
and Didnt Get a Lawyer... I Lost My Mitsu 3000gt VR4 Dealing with Insurance Company
without a Lawyer to Protect Me...

^^^Do you really think that's necessary? I thought about it but I guess it sounded silly to me...so what's everyone's honest opinion?

you definitly should have gotten a police report...

i'm going through a accident case right now, the problem is the police report has bad information on it causing a hold up. i was rear-ended also, and i know my civic will be considered totaled, it looks much worse than your car's damage trust me. and i do have a lawyer, but still there are problems.

you have a nice 5th gen man, i wouldnt want to lose it. if this guy does go thru his insurance company you'll definitly need a lawyer then.
