Since i changed my radiator on my 94 Esi Hatch first thing in the morning when its cold it idles rather high and then when you drive it 100 yards down the road and stop the car starts to rev up and down and continues to do so until the car is hot. Now i have changed the idle regulating valve and i have had no joy with doing that! Does any one have any ideas on how too stop it? Thanks

You need to properly bleed the coolant system. Air pockets in the coolant system can cause a jumpy idle.

yep sounds like a fast idle valve problem to me...make sure you bleed the cooling system completely and then if that doesnt work, check the fast idle valve on the botom of the tb.

I have the same problem with my civic 93 ex. I blew the old engine but used the throttle body from it and the sensor because the engine i bought didnt come with it was hacked off. So now my civic runs rich and i just finished throwing 2 gs into the thing and i cant even drive it. Mechanic says its the air charge temperature sensor. but i really dont know if it is i just want my civic back`

more than likely an air pocket if you changed the radiator, loosen the bleeder bolt, bleed the system , that should fix it
