Thanks for the extra info
![]() Just on a side note, whats WHP ? (Yes, I know, Im a noob!) I know of HP (Horse Power) and kW and to get from hp to kw I take hp*0.7457=kw... I think that you also get bhp - brake horse power? What is the difference between bhp/whp/hp and other than hp, how do i convert it to kw (since that is what I am most familiar with...). |

whp is wheel horsepower... how much is actually transferred to the wheels... and I believe bhp is base horsepower... although I'm not sure... someone correct me if I'm wrong.

WHP is power transferred into "effective power". In othe words getting the car moving.
And stolen from WIKI Brake horsepower (bhp) is the measure of an engine's horsepower without the loss in power caused by the gearbox, generator, differential, water pump and other auxiliaries. Thus the prefix "brake" refers to where the power is measured: at the engine's output shaft, as on an engine dynamometer. The actual horsepower delivered to the driving wheels is less. |
