I am looking at purchasing a 1993 Civic EX 5 speed
How many different 1.6L engines are there for a 1993 civic EX what does 1.6L L4 MPI - is this a Vtec????? can you tell by the VIN number if it is a VTEC? |

a quick google on honda engine specs will return a verital plethora of information. we also have a chart posted here, tho i dont remember where. here's one of the links from the google search, tho.
Honda Engine Specifications. according to this site, your stock EX contains the following: 92-95Civic Si/ExD16Z6 16 Valve SOHC VTEC 1590cc 9.2:1 c.r PGM-FI MPFI, 125 bhp @6600, 7200 rpm redline, 106 lbft @ 5200 yes, VTEC.
