Default Car died-no start

Car died while driving a few days ago. Had it towed home and trying to diagnose it now. Getting no spark at the plugs so I bypassed the MSD 6 and reverted back to stock. Still no good. Did a resistance test on the coil and it seems ok. Both terminals of the coil are getting juice with the key in the run position as well as the ignitor/ignition control unit. I'm thinking the ignitor is bad. Any suggestions? I'd hate to spend the $100 and find out thats not the problem. Any way of testing it? Cars got 150K and I've heard the ignitor often overheats and frys. Any help would be appreciated.

My ignitor died on me twice. 80$ a pop. ouch. but i replaced the distributor from a donor we swapped out and its been runnin clean ever since. But yeah, it turns over, no start. replace the ignitor, prolly fire right up. mine did. of course, this post is three months old, so you prolly already did.

Thanks soul. Yes it turned out to be the ignitor. After some research it appears to be a common problem. I ended up replacing the whole dist since it was only a few bucks more on ebay.
