i really just want the car for the body style and make it a clean jdm civic, the civic is singlecam vtec and need the throwout bearing replaced. is it worth it and if it is how much $ should he give me for his car along with the trade!

Depends really, How nice is your teggy to his civic? Take to thinking of miles and such. If your just going for the clean JDM look i would say go for it, most people i know that do the look dont change their motors just for that reason. Go to New Car Prices | Used Car Values - Official Kelley Blue Book Site Kelly blue book, and divie out both the cars for a private sale to see how much you should get out of the deal.
