What ignition would you guys recommend for my 92 LX. It has a 95 D15B7 engine I am looking for Spark plugs, wires, dist cap, coil, and some kind of ignition controller like MSD's sci box but i dont know what company is best.

OEM Honda. Unless you're running some crazy power upgrades (like a few hundred horsepower more) then your stock ignition setup will do fine. Keep your stock wires- maybe replace with NGK stock units, and use NGK plugs, but keep everything else stock unless they're worn out. You're not going to see any kind of noticeable gain from upgrading ignition items on a stock engine. Go spend your money on other mods.

I'm definitely with Calesta on this. Honda makes good ignitions from the factory, so unless you are running a huge amount of horsepower, or feel the need to control your timing from the ignition seat, don't bother.

if i werent so lazy id find the link for you right now. but there are dyno tests showing that oem honda plug wires are better, on a stock to slightly modded honda, than some of the popular aftermarket ones, includeing the ngk blues.

as far as the msd box, ive heard it could actually harm you more than help you, being that youre not running tons of horsepower...

theres a guy around here with a crv/vtec in a crx laying down 12s all day, he still insists on using ONLY stock honda.

as for your timing, you can turn your distributor and retard or advance it.
