Anyone have suggestions for a upgrade on radiators. My stock one has a crack on top where the hose attaches to it. My engine is stock (95 civic sedan LX) but i want something better than oem, so any suggestions.

I shredded the radiator in my 92 Civic HB a while back and had to replace it quick.
There is a company out there called KOYO that makes killer upgraded ones to replace the oem one you've got. I paid just over 100 bucks for it and it worked great. To tell ya the truth, my car ran a bit cooler as well. Not a bad price to pay for something that helped out the hatch. Not to mention . . you can paint them yellow. This will give you another 50hp to the wheels, lol. Ok . . maybe not . . but . . you won't be sorry. Fluidine is another brand out there that is comparible but you'll pay a bit more for one. If you don't mind the extra change, I'd opt for one of them. If you want to get out cheap, just go to a shop and have them order you an aftermarket one like they would if you had gotten into an accident. Those are usually pretty cheap. Well . . I've talked long enough. I hope this helped! Sam - |

i heard about the Fluidine, but arent the hoses wider than the stock. if they are doi need to upgrade the hoses as well. But if i dont need to upgrade i might just get it.

i believe the koyo radiator is like $350-425. i'd just replace it w/ a OEM unit used or new.

Actually the JB weld might work since its a hairline crack about 1 1/2 from the top tube connection, but it works for now so ill check to see if i can find something under $150.00.
mntdewred, you noob, lol j/k. on that site i dont see that they make any for honda, well they dont show a selection for honda, but thanks for the help. |
