yeah thanks guys... I called my insurance people, and they said they are going to give me an estimate... I have a 500$ deductable. Do you think I should have a shop fix it and paint it, or find my own replacement bumper and have someone paint it myself? Where would I save money in the long run?

Shity deal, I slid into a snowbank with my civic when i first got it...
i dont know if you paying to get it done will be cheaper than paying your deductable
all i did to mine was crack the bumper and the inner wheel well plastic crap
and it was about a grand parts and labor

Well here are the pics as promised. To the best of my knoledge, the only damage is to the bumper, and maybe the fender wall plastic trim shit. I am going to get an estimate on damages and how much it will cost to fix it... looks like I am going to have to pay the first 500$ of damage though... I am contimplating just buying an ek front, and putting it on myself and having someone paint it.

Side Shot:
where bumper came unbolted

Under Car Shot:
where most of damage occured

Grill Shot:
only two small dings.

oh thats not that bad, you can actually buy new bumpers on ebay, give them your paint code and they will send you a new one shipped and painted for a decent price.

with a title like wrecked civic, i expected the car not to be able to run anymore. that doesn't look bad. my rear bumper is just the same.

go on ebay like dan said and look around. you'll find a new bumper pretty cheap
