Hey guys, my gas light dont turn on, and I was wondering what you guys think it might be? I am hope'n that it's a light, because I heard the part costs like $300 or something. Is the light that lights up the gas light, a bulb or an led, and how hard is it to change it? Well give me your thoughts and oppinions.

Thanks

Its a bulb and super easy to change. But why do you let your gas get so low to worry about it? lol

Could be a bulb, could be the wiring, could be the sensor. Start with the bulb, then wiring, then sensor.

could this be related to the accident? im just curious with this one, cuz then wouldnt the place the fixed it have to deal with this.

also if u cant afford the part why not just deal without it, its just the light. as long as ur gauge works then u dont have a problem.

werd, process of elimination.. Cheapest>expensive.. and no i dont think its related to the accident, Ive actually heard of a few of these models having the same issue, just never read the resolutions..

Take the cluster out.
Check bulb.
Go from there.
