Hey! I have been looking for a civic to buy for a while now. And in todays paper is this ad "$500, HONDA CIVIC '98, dark green 5 speed, 4 dr, minor repairs needed $500 " So i called the guy up and he said both front fenders need to be replaced, and it needs a new clutch and a new drivers side door. The engine has less then 100k on it he said. And he said the car has had one other owner and the title still says "new" on it. The car was never in a wreck, and the reason it got this way was due to some vandisliom the guy said. So is the price he asking worth it? oh ya.. its a base model... i think its the DX.
Any comments would be very helpful! Thanks! -Stephen

I had my Dx coupe with a functional Z6 swap in it for sale for like 600.... When you just want a car out of your face, you give it away for a price like that... where is that guy located... hell i might go pick that up hahaha.

$325 for a running Civic is a damn good price! Just fix up the body and you'll be good. Use quality aftermarket stuff while you have the chance- skip the ugly body kits (most of them) and the Z3 fenders though. Yuck. Keep it tasteful.

Nice, man... I just bought my 98 ex sedan in march, for 2 grand with a decent amount of body damage, and I was definitely happy with the price... all the bells and whistles, engine has 93k on it, and all it needs is bodywork... getting there as we speak!
Good luck, bro!
