hey, im new to this forum, i have a 97 civic lx 4dr. and i am thinking about lowering it, but i want to see some pictures of lowered 4 drs. preferably between the years of 96-00, if you could also post how low your car is i would appreciate it, thanks

are you looking into buying a lowering setup? I have a brand new tokico hp lowering kit 1.75" that's shocks and springs, new in box... I will let them go for 400$ pm me if interested.

lol oompah, a little advertising? Hey man, nice to have ya here at CL... Although mine isn't lowered, I do have a 4dr also. They're nice, good luck with what you decide to do!

Also, try google searching... don't know how effective it will be, but it could help... image search it.

You wanna see dropped civics of that year.. Type in JDM ferio in yahoo and your guarenteed trust me..

But by my own personal experience it depends on how low you want to be.. If you want less than a finger to fit between your tire and fender.. go 2.25... want a bigger gap, 2. or less imo.

My suggestions if your looking for springs. H&R, Neuspeed, Tein, or Eibach. I've had Eibach and Neuspeed and I love my neuspeeds. Shocks are a tossup so let us know if you want help there as well.

nice, a 4 door section.

i dont know jack shit about much of anything when ti comes to cars..atleast compared to you guys. so i am looking for help to guide me on my frist project.


i put in a cold air for my first step. as far as my knowledge takes me, the next best mods for me would be headers, and exhaust? ill get to suspension and appearance later, it is less important to me. except hood. (hit a deer)

so does anybody have or know where i can get a nice price on

apexi catback exhaust

DC headers(hear they make good headers at good price for hondas)

carbon fiber hood (97lx)

check ebay you can find some good deals every once in a while. and just fyi it's Header not (s).

I have a 92 LX fo-do but i only have my front half dropped...

i just paid 31.00 for 4 Bitch bolts so hopefully i'll get the back half lowered soon. haha.
