I have a 98 civic 4dr, and i have to repleace the driver side door.. and the car is a DX, everything is standerd, no auto anything..
But I found an EX parts car.. and the guy said he will probbly sell the the driverside door of it for a good price... Is it easy to hook up a auto door to my DX car? or will I have problems? -Stephen

be much harder if it was the other way around. Since dx has like no power anything.. you dont really have to run any of the wires in the ex door. just bolt it on

line up, bolt on, make sure its straight, and ur set to go. all u gotta wire through the door is the speaker wires

yeah but what will he do to get his windows and everything up and down? and adjust his mirrors? cause it wont have the window roller or the little "joystick" to adjust your mirrors as the DX does..right?

[/quote] Trust me I have! I wrote down 20+ junk yards in the yellowpages.. called each one.. only 4 of them had good doors... 2 places wanted 300... and then 2 other places wanted 250.... so, thats the cheapist I found... so far.. i been looking for about a month.

i would get the dx door...i'm thinking it'd be a hell of a lot of work to wire up power windows etc. to a dx if it's possible at all. i'm sure someone on the site knows more about it than me though.
