Hey guys, its been a while since i have posted an update on my car. Well its been crazy!! i got myself in a car wreck in my then daily driver *91 ford taurus* smashed the front in... but its ok... so i been driving around this freaken pimp 89 ford station wagon. v8.. and its a wonderful gas drinker...
so i been taking every bit of money i been making and putting into the civic. *for the people who dont know.. 98 civic DX 4door* Well its been months of savings and months of time. and now the hard part is over. The frame is 100% fixed and all the body peaces line up and look OEM. Now its basically just some aftermarket parts I'm buying and some bondo and a paint job and the outside is good to go. Its been raining all weekend, so I'll post pictures tomorrow. I just bought a bunch of new things wating to come in. new d16y7 tranny with 45k miles on it. *the one i got for 50$ scrapes and sounds like something is dieing inside it, really messed up* A shortshifter, and nice new shift knob. also a si cup holder area.. no damn broken cup door now.. and my whole d16y7 intakeman.. which includes the dang iacv *aka eacv* i need so baddly... Next on the list is some OEM fog lights.... Type R front lip rear lip. some new sideskirts *not ricy ones though* OEM rear spoiler Si front grill from *2000Si* That should do it for a little while, then i just gotta bondo, sand, prim and paint.. and outside should be good.. then its gonna be inside and sound system/alarm I'll post pictures tomorrow if rain goes away! -Stephen Sotelo well the rain didnt go away, but i took the chance anyway and took some shots.. i will take more later when it clears up. ![]() ![]() ![]()

damn looks nice, great work... did you do it all yourself or did you have a shop do the hard stuff like the frame?

I had a local frame shop bending the frame out, so the pass-side light would fit in, and then i had them line up a few things that where not lining up good. They did a awesome job for 260$

I call that the ghetto two-tone... well the over all goal for the color of the car will be... the stock dark green with black tint and black rims and black sidemolding...

I'd say go with Midori Green but i dont know how that would look on a 4 door or coupe....
Example: ![]() But then again... your black and green sounds hot |
