Hey, I am having some truble with my reverse lights on my 98 civic 4dr, I have done like 3 tranny installs in it, so im guessing its something to do with the wireing, since the bulbs and fuse is good.
The reverse switch on top is ok i think, what i did was, take an old tranny, took out the reverse switch in it, hooked it up to the plug on the engine harness and pushed the little tip in, im guessing when its in, it should come on? or when its out it will come on... ether way the lights never came on. Any ideas? Is that not how to test the switch? does the SWITCH have to be inside the tranny.... so if i take the old one out, do i need to drain the tranny fluid? Any help would be great! Thanks! -Stephen
