I'll have mine up in a couple of weeks... gotta re-adjust the rear suspension (put the springs on the wrong perch on my shocks... duh), and weaksauce sent me the wrong asr subframe brace w/itr sway bar, so it'll be a couple weeks for that to come... I'll hold out until I get it all on, then I'll show you guys what I'm hiding!

97-ferio... not to be mean or anything, but I've always wondered what those blue cloth thingys over your fluid reservoirs do... I've heard that they "catch fluid spilling out" of the tanks... but I thought that's what the cap was for... What do they do?

well, yes, essentialy your cap is supposed to keep the fluid from getting out. your caps keep the fluid in, the reservoir covers catch any fluid that gets out...and it does get out. over time of course. it doesn't matter how tight you screw those plastic covers on there, the fluid will still find a way out eventually. i like to keep my engine bay clean, and the covers help me to take care of one less thing when i'm dusting parts off in the bay. plus, they add a tiny little touch of niceness to an otherwise dull engine bay. i don't care if anyone never sees my engine, i see it all the time, and i like nice things to look at. now, you don't have to buy name brand reservoir covers if you want some...just go and get some wrist bands from a store, and it'll do the same job. good question though, even if you were trying to be mean jus playing man. peace.

yeah, i ordered mine from Response Import Auto Fashion...but there are several other shops that sell them as well...i got the spoon ones because it comes as a set of two, the Mugen one only comes with one, and costs a little more too. i'll search around for some other shops that sell the covers, and then i'll post up the links here for you, and anyone else who may want to buy a set peace bro.

looks good man...the upper grille could be easily fixed by you just painting the mesh flat black...kinda sucks they painted the bottom grille white tho=( i really like the color combo you have going on...any plans for a carbon hood in the future, that'd compliment the exterior a lot. looks great man, keep up the good work. woot woot!
