theres a rattling noise that sounds like its coming from within at 3000 rpm. its hard to explain. it comes then goes after 3000 rpm. idk what it is. anybody with the same problem?

Seriously though... where is it coming from? "within" where? rattle from your shifter? engine? transmission? wheels? interior?

well, it sounds like a engine thing, idk like i said its hard to tell where and what it is, i was just wondering if anybody had the same noise at 3000 rpm and maybe we can figure it out from there.

had the same noise and it was the gasket on the connection from the exhaust manifold to the rest of the exhaust... the flange was right under the car about at the dash..all it needed was a new little aluminum "donut". good luck!
