What you put down for a computer makes no sense to me. If you car is an ex it should have a P28 elsewise it should have a P06 ecu. Those codes are for stock ECU's and can be found on the ECU itself.

And I know a little about the ECU's and how it works and I have a hard time beleiving that the ecu would be causing a rough idle at cold temps but a fine idle at running temp. but thats just my understanding of how they work.

Thanks, I will check the number again, I got it off the sticker of the computer under the passenger side under the glove box. I should have gave more info. The valve assembly (proper name?) mounted on the throttle body is unplugged. When plugged in it keeps the rpms at 2K or so and comes down very slowly.
I believe the car is an ex. Vin 1HGEJ8147VL020207

The computer number was incorrect. It is 37820 P2P A32
The seriel on it is 921-208397
