Two questions,
First, i've got water marks in all of my glass from the dumbass previous owner who left it outside for months without cleaning it. (college girl), figures. Any way to polish these out, I've heard there is a way but not sure i wanna try it without some support. Second, I've got 17" aluminum wheels with a polished lip. it has a thin clearcoat of varnish or something on it and as peables hit it it chips pieces of the varnish off and looks really bad. What should i use to polish the varnish off that will make the aluminum shine stay? I've heard Mothers makes a couples polishing ball things that attach to the end of a drill and does anyone know about these or another method? any help is appriciated. PS just got some skunk 2 coilovers put on and they're bangin. i'm riding low and stiff and loving it. haha peace and civic love! |

Try some CLR or other water chemical removers like
"Lime Away" they're great for removing the calcium. Just keep soaking it with a rag, shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. You can use a "clay bar" they work good too. There's even glass polish you can use on a buffer for minor scratches, I found that on ebay. Usually useing a cleanser with water helps get rid of the film. Most recommend one like "Bon-Ami" ![]() |
