Question Truck muffler on a Civic?

Is there anyone out there who has put a truck muffler on a Civic? I don't want my car to have the "Fart Can" sound AT ALL. I want it to have a deeper roar. I have an old Magnaflow muffler off my '79 Ford pickup that I sold, so I figured I would try it out. I'm not going to do a full exhaust yet, I just want to hear what it will sound like. I figure that if i don't like it, I can always weld my other muffler back on. I've built a few exhaust systems before, so I can always re-do what I've done.

Any thoughts?

You can't make a 4-banger roar like a v-8 period. cam it, stroke it, do whatever, a 4-banger will never sound like a v-8

also, before you put it on to test. make sure the horsepower rating on the muffler can come close to the rating of your engine. for longer periods of time, like a few weeks even your engine can take some abuse from not having enough back pressure when leaving the exhaust. Thats one reason why people don't run open header(s) for very long. other than the obnoxious sound. even N1 mufflers give a little back pressure. so just look into it
