Ok,
I am thinking i would like to get a little more power from my 98 ex coupe. Adding the intake, pulley kit and cat back added some power but i would still like some more. Thought about headers. How much horses do headers add and are they legal in california? I could probably just switch them out at smogcheck time if i was happy with them. Thanks for any advice. |

first, i'd just like to point out that you will only need a header, since all of your exhaust outlets are on the front of you engine. Now, headers will not give you a ton of power. about the same as the exhaust give or take. I'm not sure about cali law but i've seen some that say they're ok in cali. maybe look for some cheaper alternatives for power too cause the cost/power ratio is not great. maybe an intake manifold or camshaft if you don't mind leaving it in the shop for a few days max. you can pick up an intake manifold for 180 from skunk 2 from jhpusa.com and cams could run up to 700 for installation and parts but for the 20 whp gains thats where its @
