i've heard a 10" bazooka tube before, but it was using a phoenix gold amp and a phoenix gold sub, sounded pretty good.

Bazooka is great. And by great, i mean a peice of shit. Youll get a little bit of bass out of it... very poor sound quality... and it wont last you very long. But for $40, it doesnt really matter.

They're really not bad man- just fire it in your trunk and it'll be ok. Bazooka's enclosure is really efficient, so you get quite a kick for the amount of power you feed it. Just make sure it's the real SAS Bazooka or else you might be buying a total heap of crap.

yup it is. that's basically what i heard from a local car audio shop owner yesterday. the kid at the counter agreed w/ him that they aren't bad for the money. i'll probably pawn it off on my dad for his car when i get my new setup.

A bazooka bass tube was the first sub I had when I was 17. And I owned the hood becuase of it! It was in my 86 celica and I had a crappy JBL amp at the time and it carried it's weight. But 9 years of experience later, it's good until you get something good. For $40 bucks, I'd use it until I had something better. But I scored a Dual 12" JL Audio box for (12W0's - woopie doo) for $50 off of a customer of mine. I use it inbetween "real" projects.

Keep the tube enclosure and upgrade the speaker to a higher end setup and you'll be pretty stoked about what you hear. I was pretty damn impressed when I heard an upgraded bazooka tube. Much better than I'd expected . . . MUCH!

Good luck with this one bro!
