So my old ass reciever has finally had it.. i got a old ass pioneer reciever thats like 30X4 plays cds and dims when the bass pumps lol... i got it when i bought the car almost 4 years ago and its done.. When i try to put cds in it wont take em in.. it will just roll in without it taking it.. the trick is it sometimes turn off and on the car and it just might grab it but not all the time

Im gonna get something that plays mp3s and sounds just a bit better.. im a little nervous tho my sister just got her reciever stolen out her teg and she had the face off issed:" class="inlineimg" />

Maybe ill get the 20% tints first befoe the reciever.

Any ideas?

I would go with an Eclipse if you are wanted a good deck for a good price that plays mp3's. With Alpine you will need to go with a $279 or higher deck to play mp3, but the $209 and $249 Eclipses will do mp3 and also come with a 3 year warranty if you have it installed where you buy it.

FYI MP3 sound quality it not as good as CD.

And as everyone else has said Alpine has great units on the market right now.

i agree with them, eclipse or alpine. either one is gonna be a good deck. im more partial to eclipse, but alpine is still a good deck

I've personally always been a Huge JVC fan myself . . I only buy their top of the line equiptment though. I've found that with their decks, you'll get quite a bang for the buck.

As mentioned numerous times above, Alpine is also a killer choice . . Much better than my choice I might add . . I just found something that worked for me and stuck with it.

I worked in the stereo business for years and have heard everything under the sun. As far as Eclypse, I'm still not quite sold. I've had a bunch of bad luck with them coming back to my shops. Custoners end up switching to Pioneers, lol Pioneer is also another top choice . . . almost unmatched sound quality for the dollar.

Good luck deciding.
