I recently picked up a cd player from a 99 or 2000 civic.I know i will need 2 harnesses to make it work in previous civics, which i have but how hard is it gonna be for me to get it to work.I have heard you need a security code, but since it came from a slavage yard ,i don't have one.

Besides the two harnesses that you will need you will also need to fabricate a bracket on the back since it is mounted on the side, where your car is mounted from the rear. As far as a code, they aren't hard to get from the dealer, you just need to get the serial number and call the dealer, they should be able to get it for you.
