thanks for all your help Buck ( sorry dont know your real name). -If the ground wire is not properly grounded. How would I correct that?...

find a good spot of bare sheetmetal or frame bolt and connect it to that.

First of all, is the power light on the amp coming on with the radio or does it not come on at all.

no idea.. can't find the power light because there is this cover that protects all the connections and I dont have the correct allen wrench to remove it. But I will go to autozone to find the correct one.

if it lights up but still doesnt turn on check the (Motherboard) of the amp. if thats what ya call it and check for any melted connections. Samething happened to me but when I looked closely part of a chip inside was fried. Definate longshot but it happened to me.

Same problem i had with my subs couple weeks ago.. simplest shit.. fuse was blown.
