MB Quartz NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I've said this a 100 times and I'll say it again...go to you local shop and listen to all the speakers and get the ones that sounds the best to you. Cause what sounds good to one person may not sound good to the next. Case in point I don't like MB Quartz but I'm guessing Murat does. |

Distortion = bad
Clipping is easy- it's when the amp maxes out and can't produce smooth wave forms anymore, so it just "clips" the crests of the wave and makes the peaks flat. Simple. ![]() |

~ normal wave form
----- ____ Clipping well that is the best I could do with what is on my keyboard, but normal audio output is alternating current and when an amplifier goes beyond it's cababilities, it will kick out a direct current output (clipping) |
