Hey i figured i might as well keep the forum active so here we go.

My latest buy.. i bought two pairs with a two year warranty..here are some stats.

The 6002si is a shallow-mount 6-1/2" speaker. Because it requires significantly less mounting depth than a traditional 6-1/2" speaker, it's ideal for vehicles with speaker openings that have depth restrictions (many import cars). Grilles are included.

Key Features:
Plus One+ polypropylene woofer
high-roll rubber surround
textile dome tweeter
frequency response 58-21,000 Hz
recommended power range 2-50 watts RMS
peak power handling 150 watts
sensitivity 92 dB
top-mount depth 1-7/8"
1-year warranty

So far so good... I have it connected to that alpine reciever and wow the highs are really loud.. i had to adjust the treble after putting them in but the mids are still not to where i want them... I think amping the speakers will correct it tho... but definately dont have a problem with the highs

Infinity kicks all other speakers in the nuts. Nice choice.

I wouldn't as far as to say that...give me a pair of Focals any day over Infinity...I'll even take the cheap Focals!

Infinity is one of those companies stuck in the middle that makes good products but has a better marketing team. If you want to know a good rule of thumb the best speakers are going to come from companies that you haven't heard of and aren't in a Best Buy.

It's the same for Home and Car Audio, but Home audio more. Like most every here could name a brand of home audio speakers that they think sound great and I could name companies that sound better and you haven't heard of them.

Sounds like a good choice man, sure they sound better then the old OEM Hondas! D

i have infinity Kapa speakers front and back in my civic. i amped them as soon as i got em and they saounded awesome. but when my amp got stolen i had to hook them up to just the receiver. man what a difference. they sounded soooooo much better when amped.

amp them and you'll be happy.

and as for focals, the expensive ones may be good, but i had an in the middle pair a couple years back and they sucked! they blew to quick, i wouldnt buy any of them again. just my 2 cents. i also could got a bad pair. who knows

My Alpines (type-R's I might add) blew out like a bitch... I dunno; I might have to go with Infinity's on the next go-around. Although I heard some Orions that sounded bad as shit the other day, so fuck, maybe Ill try that...
