im building a system in my truck, and im running 4 gauge from the battery to a dist. block. then from there running two 8 gauge leads to the amp. at the battery i know i need a fuse right after the connection, and its the total amperage of both amps combined. now if one amp has say 2 30A fuses, and the other has 2 25A fuses, do i add both the total of all the fuses together (25+25+30+30=80A), or do i add the total of one each of the fuses (25+30=55A)? hope that makes sense.
