yeah, it sucks... go get another one. My fosgate did that to me and i found a melted area inside the amp on the circuitry board.

Thats when i said my infinity speakers are fine tossed the audio ideas and started thinking about performance and my options.

check the fuses on that amp. if theyre blown.. replace them and see what happens. If thats not the problem.. get your money back.

Thats a possibility, Usually no lights would come on at all if a fuse is burnt out.

If thats the case though what might have happened is your ground could have touched your power wire causing a short in the amp. Ive done that as well causing that light to come on.

no no. there should be 2 fuses on the side of the amp. Its to protect it. Check them before you throw it away or bitch at your friend lol. If theyre blown.. that just might be your only problem. It can short out for a number of reasons. If they are in fact blown.. just replace them.. cost you a few bucks. if NOT, and youre positive your wiring is good.. then im really not sure.

hmmm.. you could always take it to a car stereo shop... see if theyll look at it for a small fee. dunno though.. last time my amp went out.. they wanted a $100 minimum to have it looked at.. plus any additional fees for fixing it.. so naturally.. i just bought a new one. But thats up to you.

thats freain crazy $100 to look at it..the installers by my place will look at it for free and fix it for free as long as your cool and patient.

I guess I got it really good then!!

Then again, no more system for me. Stripped trunk for my suspension work, So now they help with my alarm.

well this wasnt for them to look at.. but to send back to the manufacturer, and have them look at it. and again.. this is SoundAdvice.. which is as expensive as shit to begin with. And i was in tight with them too.. gave me a ton of shit at cost.. hope they remember me when i got back for my 13W7's and 1000/1's lol
