car audio is awesome. why you ask? cause music is awesome, and good sound systems make it better. i go all out with every sound system...including my computer in which i have about 250 watts going to 3 sattelite speakers and an 6 inch sub, Altec Lansing. great company.

car - sony xplod 52x4 makes for great treble and sound in the car itself. running an 800 watt audiobahn amp (500 watt mono bridged) to a 500 watt Eclipse 12" DVC aluminum sub. damn, its sweet shit. eclipse is amazing. sounds beautiful. problem, is one of my wires is bad right now, gotta get that replaced. 500 dollars sitting in my trunk that isnt operational cause im lazy and broke...a great sound system completes a vehicle.

Im with you.... ima big lover of music and i will gladly spend money to upgrade my sound systems.. Driving around with a shitty system just doesnt make driiving as fun... When u got everything together your a happier more comfortable driver and so is everyone else in ur car like ive said before..

For my Bedroom i even have a Kenwood 5 Speaker 600Watt surround sound system..

Yep. 97 LX automatic. It what i was given for my first car, brother and I both got a 5000 dollar car to start off with. pretty good fucking deal if you ask me. you car ISNT a peice of shit and it might be fast, but lets face it its not a sports car, no matter how hard you try. youve most likely spent about 500% of the retail price of the car just trying to make it something it wasnt born to be, and will continue to dump more money into it to keep it alive and running properly. hmm, can we say bad financial decisions?

look at the systems new cars are putting in right from the factory. people want to hear good quality sound when they play their favorite music, and they want to have what they want in their car to be comfortable..i dont blame them. that and 250 HP V-6s seem to be the new trend.

Contrary to belief that is not true lol..... Long Island isnt bad at all.... But the 5 Boroughs is eh....

Thats why i have a garage now and my car is rarely ever parked on NYC streets anymore which is the main source of peoples problems.

As far as the origional topic, I have that amp in my Ranger and it works great for the price. It's replacement will have more power at $199, but you did get a good buy. I can say I am glad that my Civic finally got a sub back in it (10" Eclipse Aluminum) and I am glad to have a little bass with my music again.

Yeah dude, when I came in here i didnt know the diferences between models as far as engines go. NO IDEA. then the more I ASKED QUESTIONS and found out information i realized that itd be fucking stupid for me to do any of that stuff, considering i have about the weakest engine Honda offered for 6th gen.

why do i own a civic? hmm well thats tough. most people own cars to drive them. like i said, a civic isnt a sports car, so 95% of people on the road have honda civic's purely to drive them, on a road, to and from their destinations. believe it or not, civics are not designed, manufactured, marketed, or sold to throw a bunch of garbage products on them to make them faster. after gaining more knowledge through this website, though full of dickweeds and egotistical know-it-all pricks like yourself, has enough polite and helpful people that i was able to make the decision, ultimately, to say fuck it with trying to make my little 4 banger something its not, and SAVE FOR THE NEW SI. saving for the new SI seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. when people want something, but dont have enough money yet...they save. i like the styling of the Si, it has a 197hp engine with a 6speed and fairly advanced technology transmission..lots of things i like about it. not to mention, i get employee costs on all cars bought, maintences, parts and everythign i do through Honda. my family has owned hondas since i was born, everything from a base model civic to acura TL, RL, honda pilot. i know enough.

you need your fucking ass kicked. out of all the people ive seen on here be a cocky asshole that thinks they are tough shit because they know which screw goes into which hole in the fucking engine mount or some shit like the 10% over minimum wage job attained from this knowledge is worth it....you have been consistantly the most worthless of them all. why are you in a forum? does it make you feel all special and powerful when you tell people your car is faster than theirs? this forum is for the advancement of your own knowledge, and to help others do the same. throw in some friendly chat, and off-subject topics for fun (like eric's rants, which he seems to have taken off with) and youve got a forum. kiss my fucking ass.
