Yeah dude, when I came in here i didnt know the diferences between models as far as engines go. NO IDEA. then the more I ASKED QUESTIONS and found out information i realized that itd be fucking stupid for me to do any of that stuff, considering i have about the weakest engine Honda offered for 6th gen.

why do i own a civic? hmm well thats tough. most people own cars to drive them. like i said, a civic isnt a sports car, so 95% of people on the road have honda civic's purely to drive them, on a road, to and from their destinations. believe it or not, civics are not designed, manufactured, marketed, or sold to throw a bunch of garbage products on them to make them faster. after gaining more knowledge through this website, though full of dickweeds and egotistical know-it-all pricks like yourself, has enough polite and helpful people that i was able to make the decision, ultimately, to say fuck it with trying to make my little 4 banger something its not, and SAVE FOR THE NEW SI. saving for the new SI seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do. when people want something, but dont have enough money yet...they save. i like the styling of the Si, it has a 197hp engine with a 6speed and fairly advanced technology transmission..lots of things i like about it. not to mention, i get employee costs on all cars bought, maintences, parts and everythign i do through Honda. my family has owned hondas since i was born, everything from a base model civic to acura TL, RL, honda pilot. i know enough.

you need your fucking ass kicked. out of all the people ive seen on here be a cocky asshole that thinks they are tough shit because they know which screw goes into which hole in the fucking engine mount or some shit like the 10% over minimum wage job attained from this knowledge is worth it....you have been consistantly the most worthless of them all. why are you in a forum? does it make you feel all special and powerful when you tell people your car is faster than theirs? this forum is for the advancement of your own knowledge, and to help others do the same. throw in some friendly chat, and off-subject topics for fun (like eric's rants, which he seems to have taken off with) and youve got a forum. kiss my fucking ass.

i doubt that when you were born you knew anything about a car. you started from 0. we all start from 0. its what we do with 5, 6, 8 or 10 that is more important. and hey...you want to keep being a fucking grease monkey and wasting money on a 15 year old car...be my guest. atleast everybody else realizes its a hobby (some a profession, i presume?) and not what makes them in life.

More mindless, timewasting, thread jacking banter from you?
You are no better then me as far as that is concerned, keep it up,your showing me!
With regards to kicking my ass,you sound like just the one to do it!
You've been nothing but a lazy douchbag from day one. Too lazy to look up and research your most simplistic questions, even with a special section for you.
Go out and buy your new Si,with the $ you will drop on that, i still can build a quicker and just as reliable car,not just a honda.
As for putting money into older cars, they are easier to work on and just as reliable if maintained and built correctly.
You say that i am making the civic something it is not? Why are you even on a Civic enthusiast board then with ppl that modify and upgrade their civic, making it something it is not? You were even going to swap your motor and boost it, making it something that it was not meant to be. Now you have given that up and going out to buy a new SI,a civic but regardless of it being a Si, why not get a real sports car? Your arguments are shit,Mr. LEDZEP

Synergy asked a question, rhetorical or not, i answered it.
With that said, sorry for the unintentional thread jacking.
So yet again, enjoy your new car audio and hope it works out for ya.

Oh yeah i did get them installed... sound way better than my old setup... I used to have Two 12inch Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2s.. too loud, heavy and not as responsive as the new setup... this one is not as loud and doesnt shake the car to pieces and the bass is right on spot.. I think im going to stick with 10 inch subs now instead of 12s... its better for Trance and heavy bass tracks.

Ill throw up some pics sometime...

All im missing is a 4 channel amp to power the Infinity Reference Speakers... Trying to see if i can get a good deal on a used one.

My Alpine reciver is still skipping like all hell though even after the servicing by Circuit City.... im going back there Saturday to have it out with manager... I want a new reciever
