My Alpine reciever is out for servicing since it was skipping for no apparent reason but i should have everything back together by next weekend. The Infinity Reference 6.5s are still working 100%..... Awesome speakers.. highly recommended.

nice lookin setup... I'm runnin a sony xplod head unit with sony xplod rounds... they sound great on the high end... I got some cheap-o subs in the back, they do their job... I don't want to rumble my bumper off but they're nice... That's cheap for that box-o-subs too lol

I dont have any intrest in stripping a civic hatch throwing a high boosted motor into it and running 10s.... Id rather have a fast daily driver and a civic hatch doesnt suit my needs at all. But anyway... the amp is still on its way from crutchfield and my reciever just got back from Servicing by Alpine (Stupid Laser) Ill be installing everything on saturday morning..... cant wait ![]()

That hatch is NOT stripped and is a daily driver. You say you would rather have a fast daily driver that suits your needs, so why are you driving a purple civic, with no motor swap/work done to it. I guess fast is all relative. Personally, i do like car audio,(grew outta the "boom" stage) i like a quality sound in the car, i don't need everyone 5 blocks down to hear it too. What happend to the STI dreams/talk? |

What do you have nothing else better to do than question my taste in mods? If you wanna start shit with me than i got no problem with that... Make a thread in Gen Chat or whatever and well have it out.
For your info #1 Im driving the civic with nothing done to it for many reasons.... I recently moved out of a high theft area i dont live in the boonies like your ass.. so my civic over the years has been royally fucked with many times including stealing my old system... im lucky to even have the goddamn thing. Still do have my AEM Cai Apex catback and exedy stage 1.... so if u think its 100% stock ur mistaken.. i never said it was fast... ive driven fast cars and the civic feels like a go cart. #2. Everyone has been in the "boom" stage as you have mentioned and ive been in it also... until my system got stolen... Look at my new setup... im running 175 to each 10inch type E (not R) subs... Does that loud like a "boom" or crap quality setup to you? Let me know.. You guys said my speakers sounded like shit last time.. i went out and bought 6.5 Infinity Reference Speakers to fix things up... I know quality bro dont try to talk to me like i dont.. #3 The STi is still in the works.... as you may know or even if u care anyway ive had a death in the family recently and my job took a turn south. Shit happens and thats exactly whats been holding things up... I now have two jobs paying well.. to make sure of shit and that STi hits the streets asap... Moral of the story: Dont talk out ur ass when u dont have a fucking clue what your talking about. Now get out my thread.

if i had a car that fast..i would not want it to look like such a peice of shit.
car audio is awesome. why you ask? cause music is awesome, and good sound systems make it better. i go all out with every sound system...including my computer in which i have about 250 watts going to 3 sattelite speakers and an 6 inch sub, Altec Lansing. great company. car - sony xplod 52x4 makes for great treble and sound in the car itself. running an 800 watt audiobahn amp (500 watt mono bridged) to a 500 watt Eclipse 12" DVC aluminum sub. damn, its sweet shit. eclipse is amazing. sounds beautiful. problem, is one of my wires is bad right now, gotta get that replaced. 500 dollars sitting in my trunk that isnt operational cause im lazy and broke...a great sound system completes a vehicle. last time i checked this was civicland.com not fast-peice-of-shit-looking-car.com
