wiring front speakers ....

how'd you guys wire your front speakers ..... did you snake your speaker wire thru the rubber and into the door (its reallllly long in my civic, how'd you get it all the way thru with the cluster fu** of wire already in there ) or did you run your speaker wires from your amp to the speaker wires in the dash and use the factory wires ?

i got power doors, my car is a 95 civic sedan EX

Unless you want to take your doors off, just tap into the factory wiring. The factory speaker wire goes along the kick panel, along the door sill area, and under the seat and back to the dash in my 97.

I had to pull my doors and drill a hole thru it. Wasn't that bad though, being I do body work, so I had the stands and stuff to do it alone.

I look'd at the doors closer today, and your right... i'd pretty much have to take the doors off and drill them , put wire loom and a gromit in it ..... fuck that. It actually looks like there is some kinda wiring harness type plug on the door (in the jam, under the rubber bootie covering)
