I tried that with my last kenwood HU but it doesnt fit.
The hole was tall enought but it was too wide the re was about a half inch of room to spare. However I am sure someone has to make a kit for this I just could never find it.

When you say tight fit, do you mean width? the wiring behind it and depth? Or just having it in there? Like getting to it, ejecting CD's, and just using it in general?

Just curious, why there? you leaving in the stock stereo? I was thinking about installing an equalizer there.

i like the DVD players without the screen a little better. The features and whatnot. So i was gonna put the dvd/cd/radio there, and put the fold out screen (that has just the screen and am/fm) in the stock radio slot.

The wiring has lenty of room. The unit itself was tight getting the cage in but after that the HU slides in and out like normal.
