Default new and need some info..

whats up? im new to honda engines.. ive done a little bit of research on the b16a block.. ive been working on a 4g64 in one of those mitsu things.. untill i came across a killer deal on this 93 del sol.. i like the car becuase its light weight and has potential.. anyways, ive been checking into the bc stroker kit for the 1.6, i just want to know if itll be worth the 2 grand that i would have to chuck out for it.. i plan on swaping heads for dohc with titanium so i can boost around 15-20 psi, but turbo comes later after i rebuild..

will the 1.8 dohc vtec bolt right in to the motor mounts and tranny? how much boost would i be able to run before having the block strengthened, with rebuilt bottom and top ends? and anyone have any links for widebody kits?

From what i know you might need a adapter kit for the trans, they run around 300 or so not to sure. For boost..i would run no more than eight pounds or so before you will have to sleeve the block. Though if you do have the money i would sleeve it right away when you boost, being its much safer and then you can run more boost. Also if you are going to boost i wouldn't bother with the stroker kit. Just get lower compression pistons, rods, and a few other things for the head and you should be just fine.
