That is the sensor that is in my Catalytic converter, right? And is the misfire caused by the sensor?

It's good to get a new 02 sensor if yours is bad anyways, but the 2nd 02 sensor only monitors the catalytic converters effectiveness, but has no affect on the performance of the car, nor does it have anything to do with air/fuel ration like the primary one does. So I would really doubt that it has anything to do with you misfiring.

edit/ it will knock out your vtec though if your engine light is on.

I would get it from you if you could ship international, I can pay with M/O.

I dont know that much, but when I disconnected the 2nd O2 sensor before when i wanted to see if i could take out the cat, the performance of the car really went down.

You're saying that if the CEL light is on, Vtec does not activate?

thanks for the help.

I've had my fair share of (primary) o2 sensor problems, and I would agree that the sensor can't be responsable for the misfiring - separate issue. I would guess that if your secondary sensor isn't working properly, your car would automatically run in closed loop/rich thus the poor performance. You would notice that the car lags at partial to wide open throttle. Fix the misfiring issue first, then deal with the sensor. Running in closed loop is probably not as damaging as misfiring like a banshee.
