thrash - there could be a few thing that could be going on.

I had a few hatches that I experienced an abnormal rpm fluctuation in.

Here is what they were:

air idle controll valve - it caused my idle to go apeshit, lol since the idle was thrown off . . so was the rpm obviously.

the other problem was in my ecu. I've chipped a few in the past and for some reason, that one didn't take to the chips too well. If you did ever chip / mod yours, I'd look there first.

I'll check back to see how it's doing.

Well, There is a little cable connected to the PGM-FI, if I disconnect the cable, the RPM stays in 900 rpm, but if I re-connect the cable, the RPM becomes CRAZY again, and, if I start the engine without the cable, the "engine problem light" appears!
